A garden is a lot of work and requires regular maintenance, but when you involve your entire family in the process, each family member will have a sense of responsibility toward maintaining it. You can ask your family members to plant the crops of their choice and then take care of them. In this way, your garden can have lots of different types of plants in one place. A lush green garden adds an appealing look to your house, and there is nothing better than eating food straight off the vine together. Home is where your heart is, and where you are truly happy.

Bechdel wrote and illustrated Fun Home over a seven-year period. Her meticulous artistic process made the task of illustration slow. She began each page by creating a framework in Adobe Illustrator, on which she placed the text and drew rough figures. She used extensive photo reference and, for many panels, posed for each human figure herself, using a digital camera to record her poses. Bechdel also used photo reference for background elements.

Bechdel underlines the fact that she has always had an unexpected reaction to death - she is indifferent upon seeing her first corpse and can only feel irritation in the wake of Bruce's passing.
